Firstly, an enormous THANK YOU must go to the parents and children who came to help tidy up the garden above the school so that we will eventually be able to use it for learning activities again. Trees were trimmed and wood was chipped, beds were weeded and tidied and potatoes were even planted!
The weather did not help us but spirits remained bright, particularly when the fantastic lunch came out, generously donated by members of the tidy up group.
All of the spare tables have now found homes and the skip is full and ready to be collected. The garden needs further work to make it suitable for the children to use and will be out of bounds during school hours until it is ready to be used safely.
