Has anyone else noticed the definite shift to autumn over the last week?

Just a brief update today as we will be seeing many of you this week for one to one discussions about your child’s learning. We can’t wait to see you in person or talk to you on the phone or via video link!

Celebration

Did any of you notice that the amazing Rock Art by our P1 to 4 class featured on the Argyll and Bute Council social media platforms last week? The council leaders celebrate work from our schools that they are very proud of and they said:

“How beautiful are these rock designs that were created by talented P1 to 4 pupils at Glassary Primary School? What a talented bunch”.

Well done Primary 1 to 4.

We are really looking forward to seeing the photos of the work that the P5 to 7 pupils do on Tuesday this week when they visit the Kilmartin Museum Archaeology site.

Back in class

I was very lucky to get back into both the P1 to 4 class and the P5 to 7 class for some teaching in the week. P5 to 7 impressed me hugely with their understanding of the difference between biography and autobiography and P1 to 4 were just brilliant at identifying the changes in the world around us between summer and autumn. I have found out about the migratory habits of ducks. I wonder whether anyone else has?

Parent council minutes

Please find attached with this week’s email the latest Parent Council Meeting Minutes from Julie, our Parent Council chair.
