Our Children Their Future

You will know that the local authority recently refreshed our Vision for Education and our aims for what we want our education settings to do and be for all of our children.

As a school we do not use social media but if you have X or Instagram, please check out this short film on the Our Children Their Future Education account and spot some familiar faces:

Argyll and Bute Council Education Service on X: “We’re thrilled to launch our refreshed vision and strategy! We spoke with our Policy Lead Councillor for Education, Audrey Forrest, about the process and the anticipated positive impact on our service across Argyll and Bute🌟 #ThrivingTogether https://t.co/YsIpiPCAUw https://t.co/GYMbB51QxX” / X

Learning visits

Could parents please check the bags of pupils in Mrs McClymont/Mrs Goodwin’s class tonight as there are two consent forms:

  • For the visit to the Fire Station on Friday 21st March for all pupils in the class
  • For the LANDS25 event on Wednesday 26th March for P5,6 and 7.

Please make sure that these forms are signed and returned by Tuesday 18th March.

Comic Relief

On Friday 21st March, we will once again be doing something funny for money. Everyone is invited to wear something red for the day. This could be a piece of clothing or an accessory and if at all possible, something recycled or hand-made out of sustainable materials.  There will also be comic-relief related activities in class throughout the day.

The link for donations, however big or small, is here: https://www.justgiving.com/page/glassary-primary-4?utm_medium=FR&utm_source=CL

Have a lovely weekend.
