Well, we have hit the ground running this week as we started the new term. It has been wonderful to welcome our new P1’s and get the rest of the children settled into the new academic year. We really hope that you all had a lovely summer holiday and have returned to school feeling well rested and rejuvenated.
We would like to take the time to officially welcome Mrs Scholefield into her position of Acting Head Teacher here at Glassary along with Tayvallich. We are looking forward to getting to know Mrs Scholefield and I’m sure that we will have an exciting term of learning.
It is with a heavy heart that we said goodbye to Miss Taylor over the summer holiday. Miss Taylor worked at Glassary for 2 years and many of the children were fond of her having built relationships together over her time here. Miss Taylor is going to be working for Argyll and Bute Cuncil but outwith the Education Department and we wish her all the best of luck in her new adventure.

Reminders
The annual data update forms were sent home with pupils on Friday afternoon, please can these be returned ASAP.
If your form has been returned this may because a signature has been missed, please check them carefully and return.
Website Updates
This year the family updates will be completed by Mrs McClymont and Mrs Speechley – the website will be updated roughly every 2 weeks and an email will be sent to families with the link as per previous years.
