We have had another busy week at Glassary Primary School, please see below for the relevant updates for families this week and for the week ahead.
Flu Vaccinations
Children will have been given a flu vaccinations consent form, please sign and return this for even if you do not wish for your child to receive the vaccination. Most of these have now been handed back to Mrs Speechley in the school office but there are still some to be returned.
Vaccinations will be administered on 29th of October 2025 in school.
Smoke Free Me
Our P7 pupils hope to attend the Smoke Free Me production at the high school on 10th of September 2025, we are currently working on travel arrangements so we ask kindly if you will be patient with us whilst we make these plans – EV5 forms may be issued with a quick turn around period.

Thank you to our wonderful parent volunteers, our P7’s will be making it on this trip! If you are a P7 parent, please check your child’s bag tonight for an EV5 form, if we could have these back for Monday please.

Curriculum Cafe
If you have had the chance to look at our recently updated school calendar you might have noticed a repeating event in the first week of October, December, February, April and June.
We are going to be opening our doors for the last 45 minutes of the day for parents and extended family members to visit their child in the classroom. A very short introductory assembly followed by an opportunity for families to engage with their child learning by looking through jotters, admiring wall displays and catching up with staff over a cup of tea.
More information will be issued to families directly closer to the time, but we are all looking forward to seeing you at our first event on Wednesday 1st of October at 2:30pm.
School Photos
Mr Carter and his wonderful assistant Mrs Carter will be joining us on Monday the 8th of September for our annual school photos, they will be taking photos from approx. 9:30am and we will endeavor to issue the images to families as quickly as possible.
