Halloween has barely past and we’re already getting into the festive spirit at Glassary.
What have we been up to over the last couple of weeks?
Well for a change we’ve actually had a quiet period of time here, the children are all working away through their regular learning and enjoying a period of calm before the full swing of Christmas hits.
The P5-7 class have been enjoying rugby sessions with Arran Martin on a Friday afternoon, they have a few more sessions before he finishes up – this initiative has been run by Live Argyll and Mid Argyll Rugby Club throughout primary schools in Mid Argyll as an incentive to encourage more primary pupils to attend the local rugby clubs available to their age groups.
Information regarding youth training below.
Tuesday – 4-5pm (Term Time) – Grass Pitches at Lochgilphead Joint Campus
Micros – P1-P3
Minis – P4-7
Youth Girls – S1-S6
Youth Boys – S1-S6
More information can be found on the Club’s Social Media sites – Mid Argyll RFC
Both classes have been thrilled to see Laura Stone back in our wee school as well, Laura has kindly given us a few dates for music lessons throughout November and December and the children have been learning a Christmas song which we hope to play to families at our school play.
